Anonymous, 22 May 2022You can have both wired and wireless. It doesn't mean that wireless is bad. It is perfect... more That's what I was trying to say here all along. Both have their use cases and advantages and disadvantages, so it makes me go nuts when people don't get it that the best experience is when both ways are possible/available on a device. Wireless is perfect for outdoors, sports and on the move, I use it too. There are even some models where you have access to the DSP or pEQ at least, which is amazing. BUT: If you've spent serveral hundred dollars on high quality wired IEMs, you don't want greedy corporations and clueless people to tell you that this is a poor mans solution or some other status bs, because from a quality standpoint, which should be the priority for media consumption, it's rather the other way around, apart of a good amount of use cases where it's just more convenient to quickly plug it in and not waking up when you forgot to take them out before sleep and acidentally push some buttons when turning the head, while they are less comfortable because of the space the battery needs, and so on...

This really is a poor experience, not the other way around. And: there are lots of other use cases where bluetooth headphones with their big housings for battery really suck. So dream on with your corporate fed false believe in feeling any superior with shitty throw away lifestyle BT headphones. Smart people know both have their use cases but others are just blinded into thinking any wireless thing must be the holy grail because it's oh-so-advanced, just because a greedy fruit company started this stupid trend into forcing people to only use the wireless way so they can sell more e-waste everytime when the batteries die...

me, 20 May 2022 me. Because the housing for the xm4 is to big for my ears atleast they dont build or collect earwax. earbuds tends to collect earwax

Anonymous, 19 May 2022 Why would anyone buy this over WF-1000XM4? me. Because the housing for the xm4 is to big for my ears

you have to suffer, 19 May 2022 is there an usb c version of it? if not, i can use a dongle. Unfortunately it is only 3.5mm. Yeah you can use a dongle. But it is very good model. Everything is great and cool. Design is elegant. Build quality is great. Sound is very natural but not weak. In bass heavy songs bass is really powerful for its tiny size. It comes with 4 size of eartips and a leather like porch. If you have questions ask me.

Better get the Xm4s at this price point. These should probably be like 150dollars starting price...

Why would anyone buy this over WF-1000XM4?

SilverCry, 19 May 2022you forgot, Sensible people, who dont want to waste 200$ on a product which has half the feat... more You can not compare the 2 .. I have the WH3 but they are a very different category, not only in sound but also in comfort.. it depends when and for what you want to use them .. If you do not need a concerthall on your ears you can compromize with the little ones too.

Doesn't make any sense. It's almost the price as WF-MX4

Without having the open ear ring design this defeats the whole point of what Sony link buds are representing but then again this isn't a successor to the link buds

Anonymous, 19 May 2022I use Sennheiser CX 300s. Superb sound and elegant design. Also have Fiio FH3 in ear monitors.... more is there an usb c version of it? if not, i can use a dongle.

imparanoic, 19 May 2022 gold does not corrode in any conditions, it simply does not react even it is gold, i still want to cover it with masking tape. to prevent corrosion from sweating. i often use wireless earphones for exercising, you know. i have 4 earbuds that stopped working due to charging contacts gone corroded. don't worry about it, those are $25 cheap TWS that looked like airpods.

Swaraj , 19 May 2022 šŸ˜’ just buy a 20 dollar wired earphone . Like the Panasonic ergofit or cx180 if you can find one I use Sennheiser CX 300s. Superb sound and elegant design. Also have Fiio FH3 in ear monitors. Expensive but brilliant sound. And some cheap Remax RM-535. Great for rock and calm songs but for pop bass is weak.

DarKy, 19 May 2022cut somewhere?? bro there are earbuds which are far cheaper got with case that can do wireless... more Sure, because who cares how they sound as long as they have wireless charging! LoL

DarKy, 19 May 2022cut somewhere?? bro there are earbuds which are far cheaper got with case that can do wireless... more "bro there are earbuds which are far cheaper got with case that can do wireless charger" This is useless comparison, are they as good as these?
